Heute abend werden wir voraussichtlich nochmal die 22.-$ Zahlen, um das Lichtermeer von oben zu beobachten, die Photos folgen natürlich :)
Spannend war dann auch zu beobachten, wie an einem kleineren Wolkenkratzer, die Fenster geputzt werden: Einfach von oben abseilen!
Danach haben wir dann das zweite Higlight des heutigen Tages gestartet: Eine Kombi-Bootsfahrt auf dem Chicago River und dem Lake Michigan.
Eines vorab: Es war saukalt, der Wind hatte gefühlte Orkanstärke und das Boot hat manchmal gefährlich geschaukelt. Aber es hat einen riesen Spaß gemacht.
Das lag vor allem auch daran, dass gegen Nachmittag die Sonne herausgekommen ist (was die Temperatur allerdings nicht positiv beeinflußt hat). Wie ihr auf den Bildern sehen könnt, haben sich diese Strapazen allerdings gelohnt.
Jetzt sitze ich gerade in der Hotel Lobby, während Marie ein kurzes Schläfchen eingeschoben hat. Schließlich soll sie es ja nicht übertreiben.
Und wie gesagt, wie haben ja heut abend noch einmal den Hancock Tower vor uns (allerdings erst, nachdem wir uns bei Weber Grill gestärkt haben).
Heute Nacht (bzw. früh um 6) geht es dann weiter zu unserer nächsten Station: Los Angeles
